Baghdad – A bomb blast in the capital of iraq on Tuesday, 14 people dead and injured 72 as mayhem surges in the country amid an intensifying political crisis a month after the U.S. military withdrawal.

In eastern Baghdad first two attacks took place in Sadr City, police told. A car bomb burst in al-Mudhafar Square, near a group of laborers who were waiting to be picked up for a daily job, police said. 8 people died in car bomb in northern Iraq

BAGHDAD — A bomb boasted up in a car outside the northern city of Mosul on Monday, died at least eight people, Iraq officials said, in the most previous in a series of attacks to target the country’s Shiite majority since the U.S. withdrawal last month.

The Syrian government held funerals for 26 people killed in a Damascus suicide bombing on Saturday that it called a ‘terrorist attack,’.

The opposition has indicated the finger at the government itself, as it did after same attacks in the capital in which 44 people died on December 23.

QUETTA, Pakistan — A car bomb blast at Friday 9 people died in the southwest city of Quetta, Pakistan, which is the capital of Baluchistan province neighbouring Afghanistan and Iran, police said.

Government gifted 4.5 percent quota to minorities

In cabinet meeting, Government approved 4.5 percent quota for minorities. This 4.5 percent reservation will be included in the O.B.C (Other Backward Class) quota. This quota will be defined under section 2 (C) of the National Commission for Minorities Act, 1992.

The minorities will get 4.5 % seats reserved for Government jobs and Educationals Institutes.
