Acne disease is the big curse for women mostly in age more than 25 years. In the working women grow ugly and awful acne disease due to the developing of stress even if they never had sports as teenagers, skin doctor have disclosed.
Women are under more stress than previous generations and stress gets out male hormones, which release more oil production and black pores.
Dermatologists at Nantes University Hospital found adult acne takes a different form as compared to teenage version.
Teenagers tend to get them around the “T-zone” of the chin, nose and forehead, women past their mid-twenties get more spots which are deeper under the skin.
Women have three times more acne problem in compare men, because women skin is more senstive to male hormones.
In the UK more than a fifth of women also smoke, researchers have got female smokers have acne attacks as nicotine is produce of oily sebum and consume supplies of Vitamin E, which is important for skin repair.
“It’s time to re-evaluate who we think gets acne. It’s not recognised enough how much it affects the lives of adult women,” the Daily Mail quoted Susannah Baron, consultant dermatologist at Kent and Canterbury Hospital and the Chaucer BMI Hospital as saying.
“For many, it kicks in later life when they have to juggle families and careers at the same time. Many of the female patients I see also have stressful jobs and a lot to deal with. Interestingly, many of them did not have significant acne as teenagers,” she added.
