Pakistan car bomb blast 9 died, 21 people injured

QUETTA, Pakistan — A car bomb blast at Friday 9 people died in the southwest city of Quetta, Pakistan, which is the capital of Baluchistan province neighbouring Afghanistan and Iran, police said.
Nazir Ahmad Kurd, a senior police official said AFP, “Eight people have been killed in the car blast and 21 others are injured. We don’t know whether the driver was inside the car or not.”
The car blasted in front of the house of the son of a former federal minister, Naseer Mengal, occurs the deaths of nine people and injured at least 21 others.
It was unclear doubt the driver was inside the car or left it after parking, the police officials told.
The majority of the people killed in the blast were passersby, police added.
Nazir Ahmad Kurd said, “We are facing difficulties to know about the nature of the blast because many of the witnesses who were present at the scene have been killed,”
Baluchistan is forced to think by a regional rebellion for self-determination. It is also a flashpoint for Taliban and sectarian violence.
