The controversial Pakistani actress Veena Malik has been missing from her Mumbai home. She has received death menaces from her home country after her allegedly nude photo shoots for the cover of the Indian edition of men’s magazine FHM.
But Veena Malik claimed that the magazine painted out the thong she was wearing.
The film’s director Hemant Madhukar said, “Veena left after the pack-up yesterday (Friday) morning. In the afternoon, I received an SMS from her where she apologised for not being able to concentrate on the shooting, stating that she was disturbed.”
He said, “I called her immediately, but her number was not reachable. I have not been able to get in touch with her since.”
The actress Veema Malik enigmatically turned missing after she left from work, Veena’s business manager Prateek Mehta said.
Prateek Mehta said, “She was on the sets of the film in the morning and she shot all night.”
He added, “She left for home in the morning and since then her phone is not reachable. We don’t know where she is. Her phone is completely not reachable.”
He said that dissimilar most of the days, Malik did not take the vehicle given to her to get dropped to her house. She went with an unknown person in his car.
The Bandra police have filed a missing person’s complaint for Veena Malik.
